Chasing Ghosts is a New Hampshire–based five-piece band delivering a fresh, high-energy take on 90s alternative and pop-rock. Anchored by a lead vocalist whose voice is unmistakably her own—yet effortlessly channels the spirit of the artists she covers—the band brings raw, emotional songs into sharper focus. Many of the originals were once shouted, mumbled, or yarled by male vocalists; Chasing Ghosts preserves that grit while making it singable, dynamic, and deeply engaging. Supported by a tight rhythm section, expressive keys, harmony vocals, and a lead guitarist known for fearless improvisation, the result is a sound that’s nostalgic without feeling dated.

What truly sets Chasing Ghosts apart is their creativity and range. Their sets move seamlessly from danceable pop to gritty alt-rock, often weaving in unexpected twists—whether it’s capturing  a Red Hot Chili Peppers song with dual flute parts and a full percussion breakdown, or jumping from Kylie Minogue to Nirvana with some Super Mario in between. Beginnings
Vocalist Keri Bresaw and keyboardist/backing vocalist Taylor Carroll first played together in high school as a duo. Now neighbors, they decided to reignite that musical spark with a new project—one that would bring their favorite songs from the 90s back to life. They reached out to Jonah Erikson, the best guitarist they knew back in the day, to join in on lead guitar.

From there, Chasing Ghosts quickly grew. At a town-wide yard sale, Taylor spotted a drum set and asked the owner’s wife, Lindsey, if her husband, Greg, might be interested in joining a 90s band. Soon after, drummer Greg Benson joined the lineup. Keri put out a call for musicians on a New Hampshire Musicians page, and Wade Mullins (bass, backup vocals)  answered, and the band was complete.

Together, Chasing Ghosts revives the sound, energy, and soul of the 90s with authenticity and heart. Playing everything from grunge anthems to alternative rock hits, Chasing Ghosts is ready to bring a live experience that taps into the memories and musical tastes of anyone who grew up with—or still loves—the unforgettable 90s.
